The Controlled Substance Program (CSP) will host a controlled substance reverse distribution day on May 13, 2026. This event offers a way for CSUAs and individual DEA registrants to properly dispose of controlled substance waste in compliance with federal regulations and university requirements. Participating in this event will also help individual registrants reduce their reverse distribution costs. GAIACA will serve as the reverse distribution company for this event, and Schedules I–V are welcome.

How to Participate

• For CSUAs: Schedule your drop‑off appointment through the CSP Service Desk. Early scheduling is encouraged to ensure availability.
• For individual DEA registrants: Email controlledsubstances@ehs.ucla.edu to begin the scheduling process and receive further instructions. Individual registrants are encouraged to reach out by April 29th to ensure adequate time for coordination.
