Wilderness First Aid Training

Specifically we have scheduled a 3 day class that is intended for those working outdoors where medical services is not readily available. The teaching focus is on medical conditions and responses relative to those working in the field.

The class will cover:

  • First Aid
  • CPR
  • extracting someone who may be in a confined space
  • splinting and other related topics that could come up while in remote areas

The ideal candidate will be someone who takes frequent trips to remote areas where this knowledge could benefit them or a colleague while working in these environments. This class will be completely funded by EHS & IRM and will hold 24 participants.
