Notice of Service Changes
In accordance with UCLA's observance of Winter Holidays, EH&S will be closed beginning Saturday, December 18, 2021 and reopening on Monday, January 3, 2022. All services will be impacted. No visitors will be able to access the office during the closure; please plan accordingly.
- Serious Injury Hotline
- The EH&S Serious Injury Hotline at (310) 825-9797, will remain operable per usual for reporting of serious employee injuries, including any COVID-19 related hospitalizations that may or may not be work-related.
- Changes to Hazardous Wastes Pick-up Schedules
- All pickups closed December 23, 2021 through January 2, 2022. All services will resume January 3, 2022.
- Biological Hazardous Waste
- Biological hazardous waste will be closed with the exception of Wednesday pickups on December 22 and 29, 2021 for DGSOM locations. Normal schedules resume January 3, 2022.
- Radiation Waste/ RAM Package Receipt
- Radioactive waste pick-ups and RAM Package receipt stop as of December 17, 2021 and resume on Monday, January 3, 2022. Read the full memo.
- Office of Emergency Management
- The Office of Emergency Management will continue to be available for emergency response December 18, 2021 through January 2, 2022. Normal business operations will resume January 3, 2022.
- UCLA Fire
- UCLA Fire will operate from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., December 20-22, and December 27-29, 2021. UCLA Fire will not be in service December 23-26, December 30-31, or January 1-2, 2022. Normal business operations resume January 3, 2022.
