Winter Closure 2020-21 Service Schedule
Incoming Radioactive Package Receipt
- The Radiation Safety (RS) Office will NOT be open or able to receive radioisotope orders from Friday, December 18, 2020 through Sunday, January 3, 2021 due to the mandatory UCLA winter closure.
- The RS Office has notified vendors that we will be unable to receive radioisotope orders during this time period. To ensure that your research is not adversely affected during the closure, all radioisotope orders must be received by the RS Office no later than December 17, 2020.
- The RS Office will re-open for package receipt on Monday, January 4, 2021.
Radioactive Waste Pick-ups
- The RS Office will NOT be collecting radioactive waste at pick-up locations nor receiving radioactive waste at Isotope Desk (CHS: A6-060C) from Friday, December 18, 2020 through Sunday, January 3, 2021.
- The RS Office will resume receipt of radioactive waste at the Isotope Desk, and waste pick-ups on Monday, January 4, 2021.
