For serious injuries:
- Call 9-1-1 and start administering first aid.
- Inform your supervisor with details of the accident and injury.
Supervisors:
- Inform the injured person’s emergency contact about the incident.
- Report the injury to the EH&S Serious Injury Hotline: (310) 825-9797 within eight hours.
BOTH minor and serious injuries:
- Go to: ehs.ucop.edu/efr, choose "University of California, Los Angeles" and report the injury.
- Email: fieldresearch@ehs.ucla.edu with details of the injury or questions about reporting.
