The Controlled Substance Program (CSP) will host a controlled substance reverse distribution event on May 13, 2026. 

This event offers a way for CSUAs and individual DEA registrants to properly dispose of controlled substance waste in compliance with federal regulations and university requirements. Participating in this event will also help individual registrants reduce their reverse distribution costs. GAIACA will serve as the reverse distribution company for this event, and Schedules I–V are welcome.

How to Participate

• For CSUAs: Schedule a drop‑off appointment through the CSP Service Desk. 
• For Individual DEA Registrants: Email controlledsubstances@ehs.ucla.edu to begin the scheduling process and receive further instructions. 
• Deadline: April 1st to ensure adequate time for coordination.
