The EH&S Laboratory Safety team performs annual safety inspections of research spaces to ensure labs are following campus policies and state/federal regulations. The laboratory inspection is conducted with a lab representative and the process consists of three components:
- Documentation
- General lab safety
- Chemical safety.
Safety recommendations may also be made during the inspection process based on the risks assessed in the lab environment.
